NPCC Cadet Leader Camp + Sec 1 Orientation Camp.

Part of U08 doing Esther Ma'am WEEEEEE~ HAHAHA (inside joke). Taken during Sec 1 camp.

Well, as my title depicts, I'm gonna talk about my NPCC CAMP ! & noth are residental so this post is going get helllllllll long, especially my the Sec 1 camp. Largely because I forgot what we did during our Cadet Leader camp (except for the super crazy parts ).

NPCC U08 Cadet Leader Residental Camp 2010. (13th March to 15th March).
Sadly only like 3 pictures was taken throughout this whole camp. 'Cause we were dumb, didn't bring our cameras. And more sadly, handphones are confiscated throughout the entire camp -.- So yeah, we took the chance to taken some pictures during dinner time when handphones can be used, :B

Okay let's start now.
Day 1
I only went for Cadet Leader camp only around 11am in the morning, because I wasn't allowed to leave early from SC camp. Thus, only managed to leave school around 10.30am. Darren and I rushed like mad home, and because of this, I forgot to bring my sleeping bag home -.- Charlene's helping me, heng man. If you passed your Math, you should know by now how long we were allowed to bathe, change, blah. 30 minutes. So I ran home, bathe, threw everything at home, and out I went ! Met Darren @ 10.50am, and went back to NPCC room. Settled somethings with Kristabel Ma'am, and settled down with the others at Music room. They were having lecture halfway, so Esther Ma'am briefed us personally on the lecture. Learnt to write up a lesson plan. I chose Games day since it's the easiest left, HAHA. Did it, handed it up, and headed with another lecture, which I forgot. Was still energetic since I had 6hours of sleep in SC camp. I know it's long but I was wishing to sleep longer since I still had camp the next day okay ! Listened to lecture, joke joke, and went down for lunch. Ate in less than an hour, went back up to the Music room for more lecture. this time round, it's "Method-Of-Instruction". To be truthful, many of us wasn't even paying attention. Just copying notes because Sir Lovell told us to do so. Never did it occured to us that we will be tested the next day ~

Next up was Campcraft. Was given around 7 to 8 minutes to run to our bunks and change and fall in back. HAHA, we all were laughing while running :b. Changed and went to field for campcraft. End up, halfway through knots lesson, RAINNNN ! Ended up with drills and lashings lesson. Changed to Half-U (again) and then learnt how to conduct dismissal and master parade. (: Next up, lashings. Nothing much. Next, MAKAN TIME !!! Outdoor cooking, maggi noodles again. Actually, it's nothing much too, just that Zhengyuan was making funny actions again. This was what happened : Zhengyuan was cooking by himself, and after cooking, he found it uncomfortable to sit on the ground and sit from the mess tin. He shouted : "VERY HARD TO EAT SIA, THIS WAY! " Then, he just went LYING on the ground !!! Everyone was laughing like mad ~ Washed up, and went for second round of drills. Learnt new drills. (:

Next was briefing. Us briefing the CIs how our Sec 1 camp will be like. Anyway, we made Esther Ma'am angry because we didn't compile all the files for her. :/ Sorry, haha weeeeeeee ~ (inside joke). Our briefing took hell long. Oh and did I mention we got our bubble tea in the midst of briefing? 8). Was briefing was done, debrief time. As expected, the CIs pumped us. :O. Totally expected because our performance was really thumbs down .

Only managed to sleep around 1am.

Day 2
Woke up around 5.30am o.o Fall in at 6am. Learnt more PT drills. HAHA Sir Lovell look so cute doing PT hentak kaki !!! (: NExt, breakfast, and campcraft MOI. TOTAL FAILUER PLEASE ! -.- Mad disappointing. Next was knots MOI ! I'm luckly !!! I got reef knot ! HE. HE. HE. Lunch( ouitdoor cooking) and drills MOI aftermath. I got "Open and close dressing". I WAS WAITING FOR RECEIVING ADN GIVING ARTICLE !!! Yet I got "Dalam buka/tutup barisan ke-kanan lu-rus." o.o I know this command is easy BUT ! I PREFER GIVING/ RECEIVING ARTICLE ! Am quite satisfied with my voice ^^ LOUD! Huat ah ! But my command was , hehe. Anyway some of my squadmates made us stood there for a veryyyyy long time ! "Menghadap(?) ke-hadapan ber tiga tiga ke-handapan pu sing ! " How do you turn in front when you are already in front? o.o

Dinner was GREAT. Senaran CHICKEN RICE !!! NICEEEEEEEEEEE. :> After which was mock campfire. (: Nice ! (: BUT SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT WANT TO SING -.- OPEN YOUR MOUTH LEYYYYYYYYYY !!!

If I'm not wrong next was debrief. Ended at 10. (Early I know). But we ended up sleeping at 1plus again because we still had personal interviews. Waited for each other before going to sleep. (: & OF COURSE, WE WERE SUPER DUPER HUNGRY SO WE WENT BANGING ON CIs' BUNKS DOOR AND BEGGED FOR FOOD LIKE 7TH MONTH HUNGRY GHOST ! Hahaha !

Day 3
Fall in outside Music room at 6.45am with our bags. Graduation exam, was laughing and laughing although we muist take it seriously . Wrote crap !!!!!!!! :D There's a particular question : "If you get to choose where to go overseas trip , where would you choose " Almost half of us chose Korea ! Huat ah ! If we really ge to go Korea, I'd go for NPCC overseas trip instead of Japan. :B

Next was PT, then went back to music room ! HUAT AH LEISURE TIME ALL THE WAY TILL BREAK CAMP ! KARAOKE ! GOSSIP AND BONDING SESSION WITH MA'AMS ! RARE, UNEXPECTED, MEMORIES ...(:

That's roughly how my Cadet Leader Camp went. Although it's tiring (expected) but at night, we always feel energetic because we make each other laugh. That's really something I miss. Gossip sessions at night, with squadmates and Ma'ams, joking session with squadmates, with CIs ... Something. I would really miss when Ma'am Esther leaves @ April ): Ma'am don't leave ... Come back help us ! How can we function with only one Sir (You know what I'm talking about).

Day 1
This is the camp when we officially lead. Still remember, before we ran to the parade square to take their attendance, we were like " U08 huat ahhhhhhhhhhh !!!"
K so starting of the camp was a total flop. Comunication breakdown, hierarchy was not followed. Behind time etc.

Shall not talk about it. Next was lectures. We went out halfway, prepared tentage, sing along. When their lecture was over, Cadet leaders went to guide them along, except for Wenwei and I who was taking care of the logistics downstairs. o.o Because we were bored, I came up with a new performance (:

Next was lunch, outdoor coking (again). Taught them how to use their mess tins, stoves etc. But many of them still didn't know how to light their solid fuel up. Guided them, helped them. (until want vomit blood) LOL. Now I know the agony of CIs. o.o Was freaking mad towards the end because they were taking their own sweet time to clear up, ZZZ ! Campcraft next. I went for SC investiture so yeah, I skipped campcraft ~ After an hour rehearsal, went for drills session. One group was really ~ . They only listened to Ma'am but not us. Ended up, they had to run numerous times acorss the parade square. ._. My group was okay. (: Not much scoldings included . (:

Next, preparation for campfire. (: Prepared last minute with my U08, and then WE WERE READY ! WEEEEEEEE ! (: Got the Sec 1s and Sec 2s ready, headed for dinner. After dinner, we left the Sec 1 and 2s to discuss for their performance, while we practiced our campfire ceremony. In case you didn't know, our campfire this year is really special. There's a car driving in, and we had to form do the formal procedure (like those in NDP) to invite our OC (Mdm Asmidah ) to her seat. HAHA funny and unexpected ! COOL CAMPFIRE ! & IT'S OUR FIRST ! What's more was that, there's the campfire started in a way that a "fire ball" was throw down from the second storey into the fire pit. (: Started with performance, and took pictures (& because of this, we went down pumping during debrief because of side track). Our performance was last. IT WAS REALLY A BLAST. (:

We shifted in front of the campfire, and started to make fun of Sec Two's last year performance.
" WE CAUGHT A LITTLE BABY BUMBLE BEE, WE CAUGHT A LITTLE BABY BUMBLE BEE , MUMMY, DADDY COME AND SEE ! WE CAUGHT A LITTLE BABY BUMBLE BEE!"
Afiq : "Cadet leaders, are we really going to do this?"
U08: " NO~~~"
All:
" All cadet leaders, all cadet leaders x3, put your ranks up (we really held our ranks up high. HAHA, yes, we brought it down while changing out of our Full-U).

semula here and there (OIIIIII at the CIs).

That's our first performance. Base music was "Single Ladies" by Beyonce haha ^^
Anyway, after we "OIIIII" at the CIs, Sir Jason stood up and was like :" OI , TURN REBELLIOUS LIAO LA ! " Hehe, funny !

Our second performance, after the first was:
"In the morning, in the morning, in the morning, see CIs. Conduct spot-checks, conduct roll call, take our handphones hide away.

In the afternoon, in the afternoon, in the afernoon, makan time. Maggi noodles, satay chicken, cook in mess tin, turn chaoda !

In the evening, in the evening, in the evening campfire. Fire burning, watch they perform, see already, want to sleep.

In the night time, in the night time, in the night time, debrief time. CIs nagging, go down pumping, scolding scolding BUEY TAHAN .

(At this point, all the CIS "OIIIII"-ed us, HEHE . HAD FUN ^^ )

After debrief, after debrief, after dbrief wash up time. Toilet flooding, lizards crawling, sibei dirty, CURSE DIE IT .

When they sleeping, when they sleeping, when they sleeping, we hungry. Don't want to sleep, kajiao CIs, hungry hungry, want twisties."
Base music was one of the NPCC cheers. o.o

Cheer:
"Who are who are who are we? U08 (action). Who are who are who are we? U08 (action). Who are we? U08 (action). WEEEEEEEEE (everybody jumps and do twist sign) "

Haha, our cheer was meant to make fun of Ma'am Esther LOL.

After campfire, retreat, interactive bonding. Nothing much.

Debrief next. Our debrief was HELL LONG ~ Ma'am Lynna was making signals behind, signalling us to be faster. :/ Next was CIs' debrief, and after which, sent sec 1s to sleep at 1.

Our debrief by the CIs next. Expected, pumping for all the mistakes we have done. Only managed to sleep at 3.30am.

Day 2
Sec 3 cadet leaders fall in at 7am. Sec 1 and sec 2 were extremely late. So Haikal and I shouted from below : "EVERYONE FALL IN !" YAY FUN ! Everyone started making noise and fall in. Ma'am Esther pumped them because they were late. PT next. Esther ma'am wanted to play badminton so Haikal and I brought them down, played with Ma'am Esther in the Hall ^^. But it became a gossip session after which. LOL ~ 10 minutes before PT ends, went down and informed them. Breakfast aftermath. (: Made breakfast for Haikal, Willie, Rizuan and the CIs. LOL. Campcraft next. Taught Sec 2 lashings. Some of them are really fast learners (: Drills after that . Took the Sec 2s since I taught the Sec1s until want vomit blood the day before (:
They got pumped 2 times by Ma'am Esther, and one of them said "CB" . Clare heard it, complain to Ma'am Esther. Ma'am Esther was like : "K debrief later ..." HAHA. They way Sec 2s salute also funny man. (NO OFFENCE). Some salute like they're blinding themselves from the sun, (laughs).

Lunch up next. WAS VERY IRRITATED !!!!!!!!!!!! K so this was what happened. Clare and I took care of the Sec 1s before they went off to take their utensils. After sending them off, Clare went to change, and I went to check the bunks, to ensure that everything is okay. Ended up, BUNKS NOT OPENED. @#$&^$%^$%&$ !!! Ran up and down looking for Esther Ma'am for bunk keys. With no avail. After perspiring like mad, I finally located Esther Ma'am . Got the keys. But by then, the Sec 2s surprisingly changed. Which means their bunks already opened. #$##$%#$ GRH ! While walking off, Sec 1s on the 3rd storey shouted down: "OI ! OUR BUNKS CANNOT OPEN." That really pissed me off. I calmed myself down and unlocked their bunks for them. Their first reaction: BURGE IN AND SOME EVEN COMMENTED : "LATE LIAO AH, LATER CONFIRMED KENA PUMPING. " *STARE AT ME * Attitude problems, -.- HATE THEM LA VOMIT BLOOD ! NExt went down to canteen to check that everyone is down. Sec 1 and sec 2 = attendance full. Sec 3 cadet leaders = ALMOST EMPTY TABLES. I don't know why they took so long to change. -.- So I ran up, look for them. Some were still slowly strolling ~ I closed an eye, and went to change myself (YES I HAVEN'T CHANGE). While changing, Amirah and Clare told me about the notebook and water bottle issue. WAS SERIOUSLY DAMN PISSED OFF BY THAT #@$@%#$^$%$%^ GUY CAN ! IRRESPONSIBLE ! YOU TOOK IT, EVERYONE SAW IT, YOU STILL HAVE THE CHEEK TO SAY I DONT KNOW ! (SLAP YOU !) Quickly changed, locked all the bunks and RAN DOWN TO CANTEEN. RAN ! I thought they have eaten, but they haven't . O.O Because the Sec 3 haven't acheive full attendance -.- When I came back, they started to eat. Lynna and Estehr Ma'am called me to sit with them o.o Talked, and decided to "ACT" during debrief at a later time. (: HAHAHA.

Next was games. STOP ABRUPTLY HALFWAY because they refused to cooperate. -.- Headed on with debrief. Shall skip everything. Shift to drills part. (: Firstly, I scolded the person who scolded Esther Ma'am "CB" . HAHA ~ (: Ma'am asked him some questions, he refused to answer, and Esther Ma'am went very angry. She banged the table, and the hot kettle fell. Luckily there was no hot water inside. The cadet cried, and was brought outside. Continuted with debrief and area-cleaning and bunk out. Sec 1 and 2s were released first. After they left, the Sec 3s headed on with our own debrief. :B Released only at 6plus pm. Went home, WAS REALLY SLEEPY. Dinner, unpacked, bathe and SLEPT for straight 13 hours ! NICEEEEEEEEE ~ You can imagine how tired I am right. o.o
